Every year, November is National Children's Month in the Philippines. The goal of this month-long event is to provide Filipino children with access to healthcare, education, and a healthy environment. The national hero of the Philippines, Dr. Jose Rizal, famously remarked that the next generation's well-being depends on investments made in children because they are the country's future. This festival is rooted on empathy as well. In this third-world nation, the majority of families experience financial hardship, with children bearing the brunt of this. This month focuses on the ways in which we may assist and back them.
To guarantee that every child has an equal right to protection from harm, regardless of their age, handicap, gender reassignment, color, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation, all organizations that work with or come into contact with children should have safeguarding policies and procedures.
The action done to advance children's welfare and shield them from harm is known as safeguarding. The procedure of safeguarding includes child protection. Its main goal is to safeguard certain children who have been found to be harmed or at risk of serious damage. Included in this are child protection guidelines that specify how to handle issues regarding a child.
