Youth: The Hope of the Nation

Every year, November is National Children's Month in the Philippines. The goal of this month-long event is to provide Filipino children with access to healthcare, education, and a healthy environment. The national hero of the Philippines, Dr. Jose Rizal, famously remarked that the next generation's well-being depends on investments made in children because they are the country's future. This festival is rooted on empathy as well. In this third-world nation, the majority of families experience financial hardship, with children bearing the brunt of this. This month focuses on the ways in which we may assist and back them.

To guarantee that every child has an equal right to protection from harm, regardless of their age, handicap, gender reassignment, color, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation, all organizations that work with or come into contact with children should have safeguarding policies and procedures.

The action done to advance children's welfare and shield them from harm is known as safeguarding. The procedure of safeguarding includes child protection. Its main goal is to safeguard certain children who have been found to be harmed or at risk of serious damage. Included in this are child protection guidelines that specify how to handle issues regarding a child.

First Quarter Journey

Everything has its own first. The first quarter of this academic year gives me the chance to learn or gain additional knowledge. In the subject TLE-ICT, I learned a lot of things and gained additional knowledge or information. We discussed the timeline of the Internet, which dates from 1956–present. We also learned how to make our own blogs. And we also talked about search engines.

Each school year, we experience different problems or difficulties. It includes academic challenges, peer pressure, management issues, and stress. This common problem for each student will result in low grades that may lead to depression.

To address academic challenges, we need to break down tasks into smaller, manageable steps; and establish a consistent study routine. In addressing peer pressure, we need to stick to our values and priorities, and we also need to surround ourselves with positive influences. In regards to my management issues, I need to use a planner to organize tasks and deadlines. To solve the issue of stress, I need to practice relaxation techniques, like breathing, and ensure a healthy balance between school, rest, and leisure.

Moving on, I will continue to strive, and I promise myself to achieve my goals in life to fulfill my dreams.
